Justification for this rating: As a best practice in enhancing networking, majorly, I prioritise on areas of growth that are beneficial to me as a person rather than intended to harness organisation success and effectiveness. This is in areas of identification of my weaknesses, improving skills and learning new ones and identification and development of strengths/talents as part of leading and supporting change. All these are important when effective networking are in place. In my practice, I have over the years noted that lacking organisation networking is detrimental for organisation performance. This is also affecting the organisation workflow and the culture which is in place. In overall, organisation networking could elicit immense benefits to the organisation and also the different players in the organisation.

Achieving your development objectives: Opportunities and obstacles | In practice, I would ensure that I build connections with different professionals. The importance of this is that all parties end up gaining successfully. The rationale of networking in my practice is inclusion of appropriate reputation, increase in overall visibility, strong support network system , improving the entire organisation growth and having more impactful connections. These are meant to ensure my organisation is successful.
As a best practice, the opportunities which I would leverage on to achieve these objectives would include; · Attend to different seminars and coaching sessions which are meant to improve how I network with others within a period of 1 month · Make sure that within a period of 3 months I take part in a short-term course where I learn on how to come up with sustainable networks for success of my organisation · To gain skills and knowledge for aligning my skills with my organisation goals and objectives in a period of 4 months and with success The success of achieving these objectives would be evaluated through;
· Learning is time intensive with a lot of time required for the practice · There are resources required to pay for the learning and evidencing the curiosity for my learning process · Being accredited by my organisation management for successful management of the networking of different teams in my organisation
For the potential obstacles, they include; · Insufficient time for acquiring fresh skills or completion of assigned roles as a people practice professional · Costly in implementing of teamwork and ensuring that my organisation is successful and gaining successfully · Quality networking could be low and insufficient learning process in place to gain insights on best practice of success of my organisation
