Justification for this rating: Being an important requirement of a people practice professional, having the self-awareness, self-management process and self-improvement is critical for a personalised growth. The outcome of this include improving entities for their successful operations and performance level. Additionally, I possess a feel that as a people practice professional, I am able to harness an increased self-awareness. In all my roles, I am effective in my performance and I can contribute to success in my performance and others in my position. Apart from this, as I move ahead to my career progress, I ensure that I prioritise on work-life balance. Work-life balance is essential for my self-management considering the importance of time for a people practice professional.

a) a) Improve my ability for time management in the roles assigned to me specifically in the areas which are constraining to my practice. This is by training myself in becoming time efficient in leading and supporting change in organisation b) With the role of people practice professionals evolving, self-awareness is important to understand individual capability c) Ensure that I take part in continuous professional development (CPD) essential for my success in career progression |
Achieving your development objectives: Opportunities and obstacles | As a best practice, the opportunities which I would leverage on to achieve these objectives would include;
· Take part on work shadowing sessions every half of the year with an intention of building my self-management in areas of time and financial management while ensuring I am updated with new changes in my organisation and business environment · Participating in mentoring sessions which are essential for my continuous improvement and successful career progress as a best practice being a people practice professional The success of achieving these objectives would be evaluated through; · A review of my capability of for setting and achieving different set organisation goals, prioritising on different roles and managing time effectively · Evaluating my productivity levels, capacity for handling different tasks and will of embrace of fresh challenges/tasks · Adopting timely feedback by various colleagues, teams and people input to an entity successfully
For the potential obstacles, they include; · Lack of quality mentorship which would guarantee my continuous development as a people practice professional · The resources are insufficient in terms of learning materials and technologies · The quality issues is evident due to inadequate in learning experiences obtained |
