My action plan | 1. I read books and I learned the importance of setting clear expectations, fostering open communication, and engaging in active listening. I also developed a better understanding of how to motivate and encourage continuing professional development. After, I reflected on my current leadership skills and identified areas for improvement.
2. I read several articles related to continuing professional development. Through this self-directed learning, I gained an understanding of best practices for creating engaging learning experiences. After the reading, I reflected on my current strategies and brainstormed ways. 3. I participated in a discussion meetings with line managers and Head of HR. This involved listening to expert speakers who shared experiences and offered tips on how to successfully manage HR projects. I took notes and made sure to ask questions to gain a better understanding of the topic. After the meetings, I reflected on my current HR skills and identified areas for improvement. |

Conclusions | My learning journey about planned continuing professional development was a very enlightening experience. I have learned that professional development involves both planned learning and reflection. The planned learning process helps to ensure that the professional has the knowledge and skills to be successful in the current role. The reflection process is a great way to evaluate and assess current performance and identify areas for improvement. The combination of these two components is essential in order to be successful in any professional development venture. I now feel more confident in planning and executing a successful continuing professional development plan. | ||
