Facilitation
Facilitation is identified as a strategy of the facilitator guiding a group-based interaction for ideas exploration, accessing knowledge and to solve encountered issues. A facilitator fail in imparting individual expertise but however prioritise on need to participate actively and collaborate with others. The process used in facilitation is appropriate in an event the set goal is employees generation of customised solutions by ensuring they share their experience (ATD, 2023). The benefit of this include active participation of all teams. Training This is a process which entail an instructor passing their employees through new skills development, knowledge and behaviour. The training process is appropriately structured with elaborate learning needs identified and in some instances include presenting these concepts in practice and active assessment. The training approaches used are workshop, seminars and online course. According to Herbert (2023), training process is appropriately adopted in instances of existence of specified, evident skills and information required for learning in a specified timeline. Coaching This represent a collaboration strategy of the coach working in a one-on-one with the employees assisting them in improving performance level and achieving set goals (CIPD, 2023). As opposed to training offered in an instructor-based approach, coaching is employee guided. A coach is used in posing questions as opposed to offering answers for assisting staff to be self-aware and gain/develop personalised solutions. The focus of the coaching is on particular developments and relevant for improving skills in managing time, communication and leadership capability. Mentoring The process followed in mentoring entail pairing mentors and mentees for facilitating the process of active learning. The mentors are involved in sharing wisdom and experiences for assisting the mentees in navigating issues as they are assuming new functions, projects and responsibility assigned (CIPD, 2023). The relationship in place is informal and mutually beneficial to all. The mentoring process assists in accelerating social-based practice, offering psychosocial support process and guiding capacity development. Online Learning The process followed in online learning facilitate delivering of multimedia instructions by leverage on digital platforms for flexibility and remote-based working and active involvement. This offer active scheduling freedom while at the same time enhancing a retention of employees by virtually interacting (LinkedIn, 2019). For Clean Quarter, the online learning is practically implemented with in-person sessions challenging owing to restriction and large class sizes.
