5.0 Supply Chain Management on Corporate Performance

5.1 Performance of Supply Chain impacting Organisation Objectives

Supply chain performance is important for entity goals and objectives achievement. The importance of the process is leading to reduced costs, improved organisation performance and satisfaction of clients by improved products and services offered by clients. To support the process, Gottge et al. (2020) argued that General Motors companies have in the past failed in embracing an appropriate supply chain leading to substantial disasters in environment costing the organisation more than £80 million. For WoodPlc, it is evident supply chain impact on organisation goals, competitiveness model steps adopted. The importance of using the model is guided for competition grouped into the hypercompetition and multiple competition. To evluate monetary and non-monetary productivity, the use of balanced scorecard is important (Gazi et al., 2022). This entail finance, internal business factors, clients and L&D.

Financial- For WoodPlc context, this include performing informed by revenue, sales management, spend category, clients and successful L&D

Internal Business Perspective- This is core for identifying the most appropriate products and services holistic development. This relevant for WoodPlc management of entire gaps, delayed performance and immense wastages.

Customer Perspective- In WoodPlc, they prioritise on achievement of clients satisfied level with quality aspects, costings, performance evident. In WoodPlc, IT systems are relevant for offering entire interests of their clients.

Learning and Development Context- WoodPlc offers staff with immense chances for implementing capacity development opportunities. The L&D chances offer a guidance for organisation capitalising on competitive advantage.
