Justification for this rating:
Working as a people practice professional, I manage high-level standards of the ethical behaviours which are important for the different aspects of life. In particular, this is evidenced by my ability to ensure fair-based practice is enhanced, mutual respect for all, responsibility and eventually leading to an improved workplace (Hoang, 2022). Further, development of ethical standpoints for people professionals is core for ensuring fairness, equality and mutual respect on how all stakeholders are treated. The outcome of this is assisting in establishing a framework appropriate for making decisions informed by moral principles with a capacity of promoting mutual trust and accountable organisations and society in entirety. Through an active application of ethical theories including deontology, consequentialism and virtual ethics provide varying contexts on organisations effectiveness in treating staff.

Achieving your development objectives: Opportunities and obstacles | In order to achieve the identified objectives, I would leverage on the following opportunities;
1. I would enrol in seminars with an intention of understanding ethical factors of people practice within a period of 3 weeks 2. I would evaluate different case studies, evaluating the diverse concepts towards the implementation of ethical decision making within a timeline of 3 weeks The success of achieving these objectives would be evaluated through; · Ability to be attentive in the seminar and take an active part in discussions and engagements for understanding people practice roles which are varying · Understanding level of the case studies with ability to memorise them at a later date The potential threats which I would encounter include;
Considering I am considering only the feedbacks sourced from my peers, there could be origin of biasness impacting my active practice. Also, this would take immense time in its implementation and lack of customised practice of my roles.

Justification for this rating: As a people practice professional, effectively improving the business strategy promoting fair-based practice, transparent, and high-level wellbeing is instrumental. Further, enhancing a high-level staff voice and learning is core since it contribute to an increased engagement and improved workforce productivity (Galanti et al., 2021). Also, this is with an increased innovativeness and appropriate stakeholders relations. Working in my current organisation, in line with my knowledge background, harnessing fair-based practice and transparent business practice could contribute to increased trust from clients and staff. By acquiring the essential knowledge as a people professional, this lead to an appropriate brand reputation and loyalty. In my current placement, an improved staff wellbeing could increase performance of the employees and lower absenteeism. |
